KittycasterFX is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on any pedal purchased new from an authorized kittycasterFX dealer, or from www.kittycasterfx.com directly. At our discretion, we will repair or replace any pedal that fails to work properly for as long as we are in business. In the event that you need to take advantage of our warranty, you will need to provide a copy of the original dated sales receipt showing that you are the original owner, and that it was purchased new from an authorized source.

Our warranty will not cover any unauthorized electronic modification to a pedal’s circuit board or components, or any damage as a result of unreasonable physical treatment, abuse, or misuse. Repairs may still be possible, but you may be charged for them. Additionally, our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as cosmetic weathering of the pedal’s enclosure, graphics, knobs, etc.

Before contacting us for a repair, please take the following steps to be sure that the issue is not being caused by another part of your signal chain, and check out our FAQs for additional trouble shooting tips.

Remove all pedals from the signal chain and run your guitar straight into your amp to verify that your guitar/amp are working properly. Try it with the kcFX pedal being the only pedal in your signal chain. Try it through a different amp. Swap all instrument cables. Power the pedal with a different power supply or new batteries (if applicable). Plug the entire rig into a different AC power source (a different room, or a different building).

If you are still having issues after trouble shooting, and need to pursue a warranty repair please email us at support@kittycaster.com to get a Return Authorization Number (RA#).

You pay to ship the pedal to us—we will pay to return the pedal to you. When you ship your pedal to us, be sure to write your RA# clearly somewhere on the outside of the package that you send. (We recommend writing it on the side of the package with a black marker).

Please allow up to two weeks for any repair work to be completed.

If you bought your pedal used and are in need of a repair we can help you. Charges will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, based on the parts & labor needed. 

If you are outside of the United States and are in need of warranty service for any kittycasterFX pedal that you purchased new, it is important that you initiate your return with whomever you purchased it from. 

Many of our dealers offer return policies that include an option for refunds when necessary. If a return-for-refund option is important to you, please purchase from a dealer who offers that as we do not provide refunds on purchases from the kittycasterFX web store.
